Job summary

Leisure Focus is hiring a Swimming Coordinator at Windsor Leisure Centre. The role is full-time and involves managing staff, delivering learn-to-swim programmes, and ensuring adherence to the National Teaching Plan.

You will oversee the swimming curriculum, maintain high customer service standards, manage bookings and payments, and report monthly performance. DBS disclosure may be required; benefits include a pension and gym access.

Qualifications

The candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge of learn to swim programmes and the ASA National Teaching Plan.
Ability to teach and manage a team of staff is essential.
Fully qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher is required; NPLQ and First Aid at Work are desirable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate swimming programme across Windsor Leisure Centre.
Ensure programme follows National Teaching Plan and branding is implemented.
Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
Complete monthly budgets and performance analysis with statistics.
Liaise with Swim Manager to meet contract objectives.
Update booking system and manage enrolment/payments.
Lead regular site meetings with teachers to disseminate information.

SWIMMING COORDINATOR

Full time Permanent

Salary up to £28,500 pa

This is an ideal role for an individual who is motivated by managing a team of staff, is sports development focused and has a keen interest in learning to swim programmes and swimming in general.

Primary responsibilities

Coordination of swimming programme across at Windsor Leisure Centre
To ensure the swimming programme is operated in accordance with the National Teaching Plan.
Ensure the swimming lesson brand is fully implemented at Windsor Leisure Centre
Ensuring that high levels of customer service are adopted at all times.
Complete statistical information for the budgets and performance analysis on a monthly basis.
Liaise with the Swim Manager on working to achieve the objectives outlined in the contract Normal Operating Procedures.
To ensure the booking system is updated each term and all associated work that relates to enrolment and payments.
Chair regular site/self employed teacher meetings to ensure dissemination of information.

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications and skills

The candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge of learn to swim programmes and the ASA National Teaching Plan. Abilities in teaching and managing a team of staff is also essential.
The candidate must be a fully qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher.
Ideally an NPLQ and First Aid at Work certificate

DBS

The position of Swimming Coordinator may be classed as a regulated post and therefore may require a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS check, it may be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
