Job summary

Places Leisure in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Swimming Coordinator to lead our swim programme, schedule 1:1 lessons and coordinate school swim initiatives. You will manage the swim instructors and deliver excellent customer service to pool users.

The successful candidate will have previous management experience in a swimming environment, a commercial mindset, and a qualification in Swim Teaching (ASA/STA/SEQ). Continuous professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Hands-on management experience in a leisure or sports environment.
• Commercial mindset with understanding of performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of swimming pathways and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the swim programme and schedule 1:1 lessons.
• Coordinate school swim programmes and supervise swim instructors.
• Provide high-quality customer service to pool users.
