Job summary

Places for People are seeking a Swimming Coordinator to lead the swim programme, schedule 1:1 lessons, coordinate school programmes and manage swim teachers.

You will deliver outstanding customer service to pool customers, develop instructors, and help non-swimmers become confident while supporting fitness goals across our venues. A relevant qualification is essential, with CPD commitment and knowledge of Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience and a commercial background, ideally in swimming.
• Commitment to ongoing CPD (attending at least 2 courses/workshops per year).
• Good working knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.
• Passionate about swimming and creating active places and healthy people.
• Holding a relevant Swim Teaching qualification (ASA, STA or SEQ) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the swim programme, schedule 1:1 lessons, coordinate school programmes and manage swim teachers.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to pool customers.
• Manage Swimming Instructors and empower them to motivate and instruct pupils.
• Help swimmers achieve their fitness goals.
