Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a Swimming Coordinator to lead the swim programme across our leisure centres. You will schedule 1:1 lessons, coordinate school swim programmes and manage swim teachers, delivering a high level of customer service to pool customers.

The role requires management experience and a commercial mindset, with a commitment to continuous professional development and a valid Swim Teaching qualification (ASA/STA/SEQ).

Qualifications

• Experience in managing swimming programmes and staff.
• Knowledge of Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.
• Commitment to CPD with 2 courses/workshops per year.
• Swim Teaching qualification (ASA/STA/SEQ) essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the swim programme and schedule 1:1 lessons.
• Coordinate school swim programmes and supervise instructors.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to pool customers.
• Develop instructors to motivate pupils and swimmers.
