Job summary

Outsource UK is seeking an Engineering Team Manager to lead a multidisciplinary sustaining engineering team within a global engineering and manufacturing business.

You will manage workload, priorities, and resourcing across multiple product lines, owning post-launch sustaining activities, lifecycle management, and driving root cause analysis and change management to ensure reliability, compliance, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience.
• Proven leadership of engineering/technical teams.
• Experience across product lifecycle; post launch support a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary sustaining engineering team.
• Manage team workload, priorities, capacity, and resourcing across multiple product lines.
• Own post launch sustaining activities, including issue resolution, design updates, and lifecycle management.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and change management.
• Ensure products remain reliable, compliant, and cost effective throughout their lifecycle.
