Job summary

Veolia in Colwick is seeking a Transport Coordinator to plan and manage routing for roll-on/roll-off and articulated fleets, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to daily schedules and contracts. You will work with the Transport Manager to keep fleet maintenance up to date and contribute to improvement projects, liaising with recycling centres and maintenance providers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with route planning and scheduling.
• Strong geographic knowledge of Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties.
• Experience liaising with drivers and customers.
• Computer literate with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage routing for roll-on/roll-off and articulated fleets to meet schedules and contracts.
• Ensure vehicle defects are addressed promptly and compliance is maintained.
• Support fleet maintenance updates with Transport Manager, aligning with licence requirements.
• Liaise with recycling centres, transfer stations, and maintenance providers to ensure smooth operations.
