Job summary

COWI invites university students to join our London office for an Engineering Summer Internship 2027 in Civil/Structural, working on current projects for 8 weeks. You’ll support engineers on day-to-day operations in a consultancy setting and gain practical experience across a global team.

Successful candidates will have completed at least two years in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a problem-solving mindset and a keen interest in infrastructure and energy markets.

Qualifications

Completed a minimum of 2 years in either a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
Demonstrable problem solving and creative mindset.
Evidence of research and information gathering skills.
Interest in engineering within Infrastructure or Energy markets.

Responsibilities

To assist with calculations, design checks, and technical analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
To shadow engineers during coordination with clients, contractors, and other disciplines.
To use your academic knowledge of engineering fundamentals to contribute to projects.
To gain valuable experience in a global consultancy.
