Job summary

COWI is offering a Summer Internship for Civil/Structural engineering in Glasgow. The 8‑week program gives you hands-on exposure to current projects and day-to-day consultancy operations alongside experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil Engineering with at least 2 years completed, show a problem-solving mindset and a passion for infrastructure and energy sectors. Flexibility and collaboration are encouraged in a hybrid office setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years completed in Civil Engineering or related field (bachelor's or master's).
• Demonstrated problem solving and research abilities.
• Interest in Infrastructure or Energy markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calculations, design checks and technical analysis under senior engineers.
• Shadow engineers during coordination with clients, contractors and other disciplines.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to contribute to projects.
