Job summary

Arup is a global consultancy seeking Mechanical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students to join our Buildings teams across the UK. This 6-week internship offers exposure to building design and sustainability within a multi-disciplinary environment.

During the placement you will work with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers to deliver professional services and gain hands-on experience focused on energy and water

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year student pursuing a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.
• STEM minded and eager to learn using 3D and thermal software; proactive in developing ideas into designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services during the internship.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
