Job summary

Arup in the UK is recruiting Electrical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students to join our Buildings teams. This 6-week internship offers hands-on design experience, collaboration with Architects, Building Services and Project Managers, and exposure to a range of live projects across sectors.

You will assist in preparing designs with the team, gain insight into the design engineer role, and use relevant software to deliver professional services to clients.

Qualifications

• Studying toward an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through your modules.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and gain understanding of the role of a design engineer.
• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services to clients.
• Use relevant software to support delivery on live projects.

Education
