Job summary

Arup invites Mechanical or Building Services Engineering students to join our Buildings teams for a 6-week Summer Internship across the UK. You will contribute to building design and sustainability, working within multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year student pursuing a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated motivation and passion for building design and sustainability.
• Willingness to learn and use 3D and thermal software; strong numeric and design thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional building services to clients during the internship.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services engineers, Building Physics specialists, Geotechnical engineers, surveyors and project managers.
