Job summary

Arup is offering a six-week Summer Internship for Mechanical Building Services Engineering within our Buildings teams in the UK, with a focus on sustainable design and delivering high-quality services to clients.

You will join project teams and collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to gain hands-on experience across building design, energy and carbon reduction initiatives, and site visits to understand installed services in real projects.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year in MEng/BEng Mechanical, Building Services or Architectural Engineering
• Demonstrate motivation for building design and sustainability
• Keen to use 3D and thermal software and learn to communicate and design

Responsibilities

• Work in project teams to deliver mechanical building services for clients
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers
• Gain hands-on experience across various project stages from early design to site visits
