Job summary

COWI is offering an Engineering Summer Internship 2027 in Glasgow for 8 weeks in Geotechnical / Engineering Geology. Students will work with engineers and geologists on current projects and gain hands-on experience in a global consultancy.

Applicants should have completed at least 2 years of study in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical, or Civil Engineering and demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years completed in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic geotechnical calculations, ground modelling and hazards assessment under supervision.
• Shadow engineers and geologists in coordination meetings with clients, contractors, or other disciplines.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to contribute to projects.
• Gain experience in a global consultancy.
