Job summary

COWI is offering an Engineering Summer Internship 2027 in Glasgow within the M&E division. The role focuses on assisting with mechanical design tasks, coordinating with engineers, and applying engineering fundamentals on live projects in a global consultancy.

You will gain hands-on experience, work with seasoned professionals, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure and energy projects during the summer period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a bachelor’s or master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Good problem-solving skills
• Creative and technical thinking
• Interest in infrastructure or energy market
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of mechanical design calculations, schematics, and layouts
• Shadow engineers during coordination with clients, contractors, and other disciplines
• Apply engineering fundamentals to projects
• Gain experience in a global consultancy
