The role involves providing job surveys, product servicing, and aftercare services to our nationwide customer base, maintaining the highest levels of customer service to enable effective, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of quality products and services. The role requires working in accordance with company process standards and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate client/customer job site surveys.
- Exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional and personalized service, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Liaise and collaborate with the Customer Service Installations Coordinator on job allocation.
- Ensure customer servicing and aftercare are performed efficiently, accurately, and promptly.
- Maintain accurate service and aftercare records and related paperwork.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve service or warranty issues.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service Installations Coordinator on service or warranty matters.
- Work with Production and Product Development to resolve technical issues and suggest modifications or improvements.
- Check the quality and quantities of outgoing and incoming components, and liaise with Despatch & Goods In Senior Operative regarding replacements for missing, incorrect, or damaged items.
- Use pneumatic and electric hand tools safely.
- Drive safely and courteously at all times, over variable distances.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional appearance, wearing an acceptable uniform.
- Keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained, perform regular safety checks, and report any issues.
- Meet daily and weekly targets, reporting progress to your line manager.
- Focus on high-quality output in all work.
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
- At least one year of surveying experience.
- Two years of experience in windows and doors installation.
- A background in UPVC/window manufacturing is advantageous.
- Experience with hand-powered tools is desirable.
- Flexibility with start and finish times to meet customer needs.
- Full European Category B driving license.
- Professional driving skills and mature attitude.
- Self-motivated, focused, with a flexible approach.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
