NCIC is seeking a Team Secretary (Band 3) to support the Surgical Care Collaborative at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. This permanent, full‑time role is 37.5 hours per week with office hours.

The post involves managing patient pathways, monitoring inboxes and supporting Medical Secretaries, using NCIC admin systems and RTT pathways to ensure smooth patient flow. Experience with medical terminology is desirable, and the post outlines DBS checks and sponsorship considerations.

Qualifications

• GCSE English language (minimum C grade) or equivalent.
• RSA 2 word processing or equivalent.
• RSA 3 word processing or equivalent.
• NVQ 3 in administration or equivalent

Responsabilités

• Manage patient pathways in accordance with RTT policy.
• Monitor email inboxes.
• Support Medical Secretaries with the administrative duties related to the specialty.
• Operate NCIC admin systems including RTT pathways and related processes.
