Aviva plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Surety Underwriter to assess and manage risk while building trusted relationships with brokers and customers across the UK market. You’ll underwrite new and existing Surety business, maintain portfolio performance and work with colleagues across underwriting, operations and risk to support Aviva's Surety proposition.

This role offers growth in a specialist area with a market-leading insurer.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Surety business, including new business and renewals.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements relevant to Surety underwriting.
• Ability to manage a profitable portfolio while making sound underwriting decisions.
• Strong relationship-building skills with brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience balancing commercial opportunities with customer outcomes.
