Job summary

Stoke Holy Cross Primary School in Norfolk is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across the school with 1:1 pupils, small groups and whole classes. You will support pupils with additional needs and SEND, applying de-escalation strategies where needed and collaborating with colleagues to raise learning outcomes.

The role is a fixed-term position to July 2027, part time (32.5 hours/week: 30 hrs TA + 2.5 hrs MSA), term-time plus one week for TA, with potential for extension and job

Qualifications

• Ability to support 1:1 pupils and small groups across the school.
• Experience with pupils with additional needs/SEND in a mainstream setting.
• Understanding of SEMH needs and de-escalation strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support as part of a teaching team.
• Assist across classes as needed to support pupil learning and behaviour.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment and assist with learning activities.
