Job summary

Stoke Holy Cross Primary School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant. You will support 1:1, small groups and classes, with a focus on pupils with additional needs. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a positive approach to pupil learning in a welcoming environment.

Hours are 08:15-12:15, plus 5 hrs MSA duties, with job share and term-time plus one week TA or term-time only MSA options. Closing date 5 October 2026 and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Can-do, flexible approach to TA duties and 1:1 support.
• Desire to make a difference for pupils and families.
• Good written and oral English and Mathematics skills.
• Positive behaviour strategies and will follow school policy.

Responsibilities

• Support 1:1, small groups and classes across the school.
• Assist pupils with additional needs/SEND in mainstream setting.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to lesson delivery.
