Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is seeking a Supporter Relations Executive to join our supporter relations team. You will be at the forefront of delivering an outstanding supporter experience at the highest standards. You will communicate with supporters, take donations and registrations, thank donors, and respond to complaints in line with our donor journeys.

A Basic DBS check is required. Salary is £33,500 per annum with a hybrid pattern of 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the public to inspire their support.
• Ability to provide an exceptional supporter experience for fundraisers and donors.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with databases, with attention to detail and good data management.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• A passion for working in public fundraising and delivering engaging and inspiring supporter experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for supporters, providing information, advice and support to maximise income in the most efficient way.
• To communicate with supports in a prompt, helpful and professional manner via telephone, post and email – being a passionate ambassador for GOSH Charity.
• To take donations and registrations and thanking donations in accordance with the supporter relations strategy and donor journeys.
• To receive and respond to complaints about the Charity’s fundraising activity, liaising with colleagues and agencies to reach a satisfactory resolution for the supporter wherever possible.
