Job summary

Glenelg Support Ltd in Haydock is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee a supported living service. You will lead the staff team, ensure high-quality, person-centred support, and maintain compliance with care standards.

Role involves day-to-day management, payroll, and on-call duties. Applicants should have leadership experience, a full UK driving licence, and be able to drive mobility vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with autism, complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health needs.
• Previous leadership or senior support experience is desirable.
• Full UK manual driving licence, no endorsements or penalty points.
• Ability to drive a mobility vehicle.
• No visa sponsorship required now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving goals and maintaining independence.
• Lead and motivate a team of support workers.
• Manage day-to-day running of the service on a 24-hour basis.
• Complete four-weekly payroll.
• Conduct staff supervisions, probation reviews, and annual appraisals.
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained.
• On-call rota management.
