Job summary

Support for Ordinary Living is seeking a skilled Team Leader to oversee day-to-day delivery of our Supported Living services in Wishaw, Scotland. You will drive person-centred support, develop staff, and ensure high standards while building strong partnerships with families and health professionals.

The role focuses on promoting independence, inclusion and meaningful community participation, with a proactive approach to staff development and resource management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in health and social care settings.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Supported Living services to maintain high standards of person-centred support.
• Coach, supervise and develop staff to achieve strong performance and outcomes.
• Oversee rota planning, staffing levels and resource management.
• Promote independence, inclusion, positive risk-taking and community participation.
• Build relationships with families, health professionals, social work teams and partners.
• Support recruitment, induction, retention and staff development.
• Monitor and review support plans to reflect individual aspirations and outcomes.
• Promote technology-enabled care and innovative approaches to enhance independence.
• Participate in the On-Call Manager rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the use of technology-enabled care and innovative approaches that enhance independence and choice.
• Participate in the On-Call Manager rota.
