Job summary

Nouvita Healthcare Ltd. in The Leys residential care home is seeking caring Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives.

You will provide person-centred support with daily living activities, personal care, meals and household tasks, while promoting dignity, respect and inclusion.

About The Role

Are you a caring, patient and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in a residential home supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives.
No two days are the same. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals, build confidence and participate fully in their community.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.

  • Support residents to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities.

  • Encourage independence, choice, dignity and respect.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all individuals supported.

  • Work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

  • We are currently recruiting for both full time and part time positions.


Essential Requirements


  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.

  • Enhanced DBS check (Fully funded but is required before employment can commence).

  • Due to the location of The Leys your own transport is recommended
