MPA Recruitment is seeking Band 3 Social Care Support Workers for day centres in Omagh and Strabane. Join a trusted NI NHS Social Care Directorate supplier delivering compassionate, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and dementia.

You will help with daily activities, promote independence, and participate in meaningful activities. Flexible shifts, weekly pay, training opportunities, and dedicated on-call support are provided by our team.

Formación

• At least 6 months' experience in a similar role.
• Current NISCC registration or willingness to apply.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or dementia.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training courses.
• Willingness to undertake the required AccessNI checks.
• A satisfactory enhanced AccessNI check.
• A caring, compassionate and reliable approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.

About the Role

As a Social Care Support Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting individuals attending day centre services, promoting their wellbeing, dignity and independence.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting individuals with daily activities and personal development.
• Encouraging independence, choice and social inclusion.
• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or dementia.
• Helping individuals participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

Essential Criteria – Band 3

To be considered for these roles, you must have:

• At least 6 months' experience in a similar role.
