Voyage Care is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help a fantastic group of people gain independence and quality of life in a Cheveril Lane service in Bury Ramsey. You will teach life skills, assist with daily tasks, and promote community access in a lively team.

The role values resilience, flexibility, and a calm, reflective approach, with opportunities for development and sector-leading training across the company.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required for the role.
• Be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach.

Support Worker

Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service Cheveril Lane in Bury Ramsey is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local in the community or assisting with arts and crafts. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism.
