Job summary

Community Integrated Care is recruiting a part-time Support Worker (16 hrs) to assist a gentleman living independently in his own home near Wick. The role involves in-home support as well as accompanying him to activities in the community, using public transport or a car when needed.

We value drivers with their own vehicle, and welcome applicants who are positive, outgoing and have a good sense of humour. Prior experience with learning disabilities is preferred, and training is provided.

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: We are currently recruiting for a part-time (16 hour) team member to support a gentleman living independently in his own home in the village of Reiss close to Wick. As well as support within the home, he enjoys being outdoors and exploring the community on foot, by public transport and in the car. He participates in a wide range of activities including swimming, cycling, playing darts and pool, gardening and arts and crafts. He is also keen on cooking and baking and listening to music and spending time with family which is important to him. He is looking for support workers who are driven, positive and outgoing with a good sense of humour, who have experience of supporting a person with learning disabilities Due to the nature of the location and activities, we are seeking someone who is a driver with access to their own vehicle. To ensure you can support this gentleman with his activities, our shifts are:
