Job summary

The Leys is a specialist, person-centred residential care home in a rural setting, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our compassionate team and help residents achieve greater independence and meaningful lives.

As part of Nouvita Healthcare, you will provide tailored care, support community participation, and promote dignity, respect and inclusion.

We are seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in a residential home supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives. No two days are the same. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals, build confidence and participate fully in their community.,

  • Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
  • Support residents to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities.
  • Encourage independence, choice, dignity and respect.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all individuals supported.
  • Work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment., The Leys has 9 individual ground floor bedrooms set in a beautiful rural setting. The Leys is a specialist, person-centred residential care home supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, asperger's syndrome and mental health needs.   • Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • We are currently recruiting for both full time and part time positions.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
  • Enhanced DBS check (Fully funded but is required before employment can commence).
  • Due to the location of The Leys your own transport is recommended
