OakGar Recruitment is assisting a specialist care organisation in recruiting a Support Worker to enable independence for individuals with learning disabilities and autism in Aylesham and another local service.

You will need a friendly, patient and flexible approach, and be comfortable working days, nights and sleep-ins. The employer offers NVQ Level 3 training and ongoing supervision, with DBS paid as part of the package, plus e-learning and diplomas, discounts, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience with learning disabilities and autism desirable.
• Must be flexible for all shifts including days, nights and sleep-ins.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care offered and funded by employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning and personal care.
• Provide travel support and accompany to community activities and appointments.
