P3 Charity (People Potential Possibilities) is recruiting for an experienced support worker to help young people aged 16-18. The role involves working in our Young People services, coordinating safety and support plans, managing rent accounts, and delivering regular key work sessions.

You'll be based in our office with regular travel, 42 hours per week, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice as part of a values-led team dedicated to improving independent living outcomes for young people.

Are you a person who is compassionate, understanding and wants to make a difference to young people’s lives?

If you have an affinity for helping people and the challenges they face today, this role may be just what you are looking for. Our Young People services provide 24-hour support to people between the ages of 16 and 18, promoting and developing independent living skills which will enable young people to move on into their own tenancies successfully.

You will work alongside other agencies to ensure that the young people in our service receive the appropriate support tailored to their needs. You will have responsibility for ensuring that all support plans and safety management plans are completed and up to date for the young people, rent accounts are managed and weekly key work sessions are held.

In addition, you will also be completing and monitoring the health and safety of rooms, and the building. You will have a people focus, with strong communication and listening skills. Being friendly, proactive, positive, and approachable is a must and an understanding of a trauma informed approach will ensure you are committed to P3’s values in our delivery of services.

The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Please note, this post is subject to an enhanced check made by the Disclosure and Barring Services, paid for by P3
