Job summary

Cygnet Ashbrook is recruiting a Female Support Worker to provide compassionate care across day and night shifts, totaling 42 hours per week. The role includes driving service users to activities and supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs at a residential setting.

Your duties cover enabling independence, maintaining safety, and working as part of a caring team. A Full UK Driving Licence is required and DBS checks are conducted.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a support setting with learning disabilities
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player
• Caring and understanding with energy to provide a varied environment
• Passionate about empowering and supporting service user independence

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all in our care
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical and welfare needs
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required
• Safeguard all patients
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
