Cygnet Ashbrook in Birmingham is hiring Learning Disabilities Support Workers to join our team. You’ll work 42 hours a week across day and night shifts, including alternate weekends, helping people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs live more independent lives.

A Full UK Driving Licence is required to drive service users to activities. We offer paid breaks, DBS check, training, a contributory pension, free parking and paid annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in learning disabilities support.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required to drive service users.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required
• Safeguard all patients
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
