Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a full-time role in St Osyth, Clacton-on-Sea. The position requires a full UK driving licence and involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and related needs in daily living and community activities.

You will deliver person-centred care, support independence, and follow individual care plans to ensure safety and engagement across shifts on a rota basis.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or above is required.
  • Caring, positive and reliable attitude is essential.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in role.
  • Basic IT skills are desirable.

Hours

Full-time 42 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)


Pay

£12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)


**Please note a full UK driving licence is required for this role**


About the Service

Wellwick House is a 6-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and asperges syndrome. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals.


People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going to the theatre, college, swimming and going out for tea helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.


About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health needs to live life their way.


You’ll:



  • Support independence and personal goals

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care

  • Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings

  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing

  • Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure


  • Entry Level – £12.71 per hour

  • NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour

  • NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour
