Dimensions is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker in Weymouth to join a caring team supporting a gentleman in his 20s in his own home. You will ensure a safe, calm night, support routines, and help build confidence through person-centred care.

The role involves keeping safe checks, maintaining a tidy environment, and accurate record-keeping using IT systems, with a focus on dignity and wellbeing throughout the night.

About the role

We're looking for a caring and committed Waking Night Support Workerto join our team in Weymouth, supporting a friendly gentleman in his 20s who lives in his own home.

He is autistic and benefits from consistent, person-centred support that helps him maintain routines, develop confidence, and gradually explore new opportunities and experiences.

Every night,you’llhelp create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support.
Your role will include:

• Carrying out regular “keeping safe checks” to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe.
• Recordingimportant informationusing our easy-to-use IT systems – from support plans to health and safety logs – so we can provide the best care possible.
• Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night.
• Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.
• Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.

Shift: 9.30 pm - 8.30 am
