Job summary

Dimensions Group in Taunton is seeking caring Waking Night Support Workers to provide overnight assistance and comfort. You will help maintain a safe, calm environment, record care activities, and follow risk assessments and support plans to ensure wellbeing throughout the night.

The role offers permanent night shifts with a competitive hourly rate (£15.54) and a range of benefits, including leave, training, and progression opportunities. DBS processes are supported by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular keeping safe checks to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe.
• Recording important information using our IT systems – from support plans to health and safety logs.
• Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night.
• Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.
• Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.
• An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.

About the role?

Discovery is looking for caring Waking Night Support Workers in Taunton to support people throughout the night, ensuring the appropriate support is given in line the risk assessment and support plan whist also carrying out a number of key allocated tasks.

Every night, you’ll help create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support.
Your role will include:
