Job summary

Komplex Community in Cannock is seeking a dedicated Support Worker on a full-time basis to assist adults with complex needs in their own homes. You will support daily tasks, encourage independence, and provide a calm, reassuring presence during challenging situations.

Role requires a UK driving licence and at least 1 year in care or support, plus strong compassion and IT literacy for record-keeping. Shifts include days and waking nights, with career development opportunities.

Qualifications

A Full UK driving licence.
A minimum of one year's experience working in care or support.
Compassion, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
Confidence working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.
Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with essential daily tasks such as cooking, personal care, cleaning, and budgeting.
Encourage independence through meaningful activities and community access.
Be a calm, reliable presence during difficult times, offering emotional reassurance and structure.
