Job description

We’re recruiting!

We understand that life can be complicated for everyone, but some individuals are prevented from pursuing their dreams. Many learning disabled people are not heard when it comes to the support they want, and they may not have the opportunity to decide on their work, leisure, or financial choices. Some are unable to try new hobbies they would love to explore.

But you can make a difference.

Join our growing team in Chessington and Surbiton, and receive comprehensive training to become a confident Support Worker.

If our values—Kind, Diverse, Positive, and Visionary—resonate with you, then we share common ground. Come onboard and support learning disabled adults in developing skills, achieving life goals, and thriving in your community.

What we offer you
  • Location: Supported Living services in Chessington, Surbiton & Kingston
  • Salary: £13.85 per hour
  • Hours: 23 hours per week, with a mix of early shifts, late shifts, alternate weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Holidays: 33 days of annual leave, including 8 statutory bank holidays
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% extra for key dates over Christmas
  • Training & development: Fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care while earning
  • Benefits: Health, retail, and cash incentives for you to use as you wish
What you’ll be doing

Your daily tasks will vary. You might support someone with shopping, accompany them on outdoor adventures, assist with personal care, or help them attend their favorite gig. You could help build confidence in using public transport or teach money management skills. The goal is to support individuals in discovering new interests, achieving personal goals, and maintaining meaningful relationships with family and friends.

You will provide high-quality care and support for learning disabled adults by listening to their needs, assisting with daily tasks like medication management, cooking, and confidence-building activities, and supporting their pursuit of new experiences—all while working flexible shifts to balance your work and personal life.

Having a full driving license is advantageous but not essential.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Surrey services!

Find your place with us and make a difference in lives.
