We are looking for experienced Healthcare Support Workers to register with our temporary staffing - Bank on Us service. You must have a minimum of twelve months continuous, recent experience employed directly by the NHS as a Health Care Support Worker as well as having achieved the care certificate through the NHS.
Applicants must also have excellent communication and IT skills as well as a compassionate nature and a desire to provide high standards of care to our patients.
There are a variety of hours and shifts available across the different Trust sites and departments. and we are particularly keen to hear from people who are interested in working day shifts. Most shifts would be on the St Peter’s site and as a Bank only contract the Trust has no obligation to offer regular hours.
Once you have completed the Bank Pre-Registration process you will be booked to attend the Trust's Induction Programme which is 10 days. This commitment is required to support and enhance your current skills and knowledge.

Our Healthcare Support Workers are at the heart of providing direct patient centred care, supporting the Registered Nurses and Nursing Associates as well as the wider Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
The role is varied, equally challenging and rewarding, where you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the experience of our patients. This could be by supporting patients in their rehabilitation and recovery following an operation or a period of acute illness, caring for patients upon admission to hospital in a fast-paced environment supporting the medical and nursing teams or providing holistic and compassionate care for our more vulnerable patients or those at the end of their life.
