Job summary

Inicio Group Ltd in Liverpool is hiring a Support Worker (Supported Accommodation) to assist young people aged 16 to 19, helping them gain independence and prepare for adulthood. The role is part-time (19 hours weekly) with a pay rate of £13.00–£13.50 per hour and a £250 welcome bonus (£125 on induction, £125 after probation).

Qualifications

• Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is desirable.
• Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle required.
• Sleep in shifts willing and able to do.

Responsibilities

• Work with young people to promote independence and transition to adulthood.
• Collaborate multiagency with internal and external professionals to provide wrap around support.
• Be a positive role model and communicate clearly with colleagues and young people.
• Contribute to non-discriminatory, person-centred support.

As a Support Worker your role will be to work alongside young people, actively promoting independence and preparing them to transition into adulthood.

Working on a multiagency basis and in partnership with internal and external professionals to ensure young people are given the correct wrap around support and are treated equally, as individuals, and without discrimination.

Experience & Qualifications

• Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care. (Desired)
• Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience. (Desired)
• Hold a valid Driving licence and access to own vehicle. (Required)
• Minimum age requirement of 19 years of age. (Required)
• DBS on Update System. (Desired)
• Willing & able to do Sleep In shifts (Required)

This charge will be a maximum of£74.70, and any costs are refundable to the employee after completion of induction.

Welcome bonus T&C's: Inicio Group reserves the right to reclaim the welcome bonus if the employee voluntarily leaves or is dismissed for misconduct within 12 months of their start date. Any reclaim will be calculated on a pro-rata basis at 1/12th of the total bonus for each full month not completed.
