Field Lane is a charity delivering care and support to adults with learning disabilities in Surrey. We are seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based service in Betchworth, helping people live independently in their own homes or with family with compassionate, person-centred care.

You will work with a dedicated team, deliver personal care per care plans, assist with daily living tasks, promote inclusion and independence, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to complete.
  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Caring, empathetic, and non-judgemental attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.
  • Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support with a dedicated team.
  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
  • Support daily living tasks (mealtimes, laundry, housekeeping).
  • Promote inclusion, dignity and independence for every client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality; uphold safeguarding and safety policies.
  • Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

We’re looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based service in Betchworth, Surrey. We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently within their own homes or with family.

Our support workers spend meaningful time with the people they support, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do, as the connection between a client and their support worker is key to achieving positive outcomes.

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:

  • Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
  • Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
  • Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

What we’re looking for:
