Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support promoting independence.
• Assist the Service Manager with daily operations.
• Induct new colleagues and supervise their development.
• Order and oversee medication management.

Senior Support Worker – Voyage Care Ltd

Location: Hindhead, Surrey

Shift: 7am–7pm, including weekend rotas

Base pay range: Provided by Voyage Care Ltd. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more.

We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join a welcoming residential service supporting a fantastic group of people to live more independent and fulfilling lives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on while also supporting day‑to‑day running of a service and developing others within the team.

What you will be doing

• Providing high‑quality, person‑centred support that promotes independence and choice
• Supporting the Service Manager with daily operations, including shift allocation and rotas
• Inducting new colleagues and supporting training and supervision
• Ordering and overseeing medication and supporting financial management
• Acting as a role model, supporting colleagues to grow in confidence and capability

About you

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, acquired brain injury, forensic histories or trauma
• A calm, compassionate and confident approach
• The ability to lead by example and support others to excel
