Field Lane is a charity seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live independently in their homes or with families, in the Reigate area. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, and promote inclusion and dignity.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete) and at least 2 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
• Caring, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS and background checks-required
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based service in Reigate, Surrey. We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently within their own homes or with family.

Our support workers spend meaningful time with the people they support, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do, as the connection between a client and their support worker is key to achieving positive outcomes.

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:

• Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
• Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).

• The ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.
