Imagine a job where you can change someone's life by doing the things you take for granted.
As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you'll play an important role each day by supporting people to take part in the activities and experiences they value, helping them to live with confidence and independence. It might be something simple like taking a walk to the shops to get a pint of milk; or something bigger like supporting someone to visit the gym for the first time, start a new hobby, or even take a trip abroad.
You'll be supporting ladies and gentlemen across two locations in Staplehurst, helping each person to live the life they choose. The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities - going out for drives, visiting family, spending time with friends, trips to the cinema, shopping, bowling, and pub lunches. Your role will be to support them in doing the things that bring them joy, connection, and a sense of routine.
We provide complete training to enable you to provide the best support you can to people living with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. What truly matters is your kindness, positivity, and desire to make a difference in someone's day.
An enhanced DBS check is required (paid for by us).
"Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010".
We are committed to being Disability Confident, and we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
