Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a Support Worker in Bedford (MK42) for a part-time role (30 hours). The position offers a rate of £13.00 per hour, with an advancement from £12.75/hour from 26th October. You must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be willing to drive a mobility vehicle. Training includes NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Drive the gentleman's car for outings when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy living environment.
• Engage in training and develop skills through NVQ Level 2.

Our gentleman at this location is very sociable and prefers to be out and about. He has his own car, which you must be willing to drive as he doesn't enjoy using public transport. When at home our gentleman takes great pride in keeping his flat clean and tidy with support from staff. He has a great sense of humour and loves watching football.
