Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join a small care package in Flint, North Wales. You will assist with personal care, accompany to gym, and provide friendly companionship in a one-bedroom bungalow.

This role supports a vibrant woman with Cerebral Palsy and emphasises independence, respect, and a warm, humorous approach. The position offers 2–3 daytime shifts per week, 4-hour blocks including alternating Sundays, and a driver is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care routines (dressing, undressing, light washing)

• Being part of a one-to-one care arrangement in a small home setting

We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our clients home based in Flint, North Wales.

We're on the lookout for a friendly, compassionate, and reliable support worker to join a small but mighty care package supporting a vibrant woman with Cerebral Palsy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while building a warm and respectful bond with someone who values independence, optimism, and a cheeky bit of fun.

When you'll be working:

• 2- 3 shifts a week
• 8:30am-12.:30pm
• 8-12 hours a week
• Must be willing to work every other weekend

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting with personal care routines like dressing, undressing, and light washing tasks
• Encouraging wellbeing by accompanying her to the gym and promoting physical activity
• Offering gentle prompting and company during quieter moments, especially on busier days
• Being part of a one-to-one care arrangement within a cozy one-bedroom bungalow
