Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Night Support Worker at Thornfield Grange in Bishop Auckland to support adults with learning disabilities and autism who may challenge behaviours.
You will work mainly nights (42 hours weekly) with occasional day shifts, weekends and bank holidays. A driving licence is required, and DBS check is mandatory. The role includes personal care, community outings, and safeguarding responsibilities.

We are looking for a confident Night Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll be working 42 hours a week, (nights only) in Thornfield Grange with Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism along with behaviours that challenge.
Working mainly night shifts, with the expectation to cover day shift when required , inhouse meals are provided and paid handovers. This role involves working every other weekend, and bank holidays (including Christmas).
Please note: A driving license is required for this role. For Insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years of age or over and have held a full UK driving license for at least 2 years.
Thornfield Grange is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. Based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Thornfield Grange supports individuals who have behaviours that may challenge, as well as those who have significant difficulties with social engagement.
The role involves supporting adults with all aspects of daily life, including on occasion personal care. Accessing the community regular and taking service users on holidays and driving responsibilities.
£13.15 per hour increasing to £13.45 per hour at 3 months and £13.70 per hour at 18 months
