Voyage Care is hiring caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people gain independence and improve quality of life within a supportive team.
You’ll assist with daily activities, teach life skills, and accompany service users on outings, shopping, and social activities, while following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflecting on practice.
Typical Shifts are mixture of: early 8am - 3pm & late 3pm - 10pm sometimes: night 10pm - 8am ( to cover if holiday or sickness)

Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the person we support in shopping and coffee shops, the next you could be unwinding with them playing games, watching films or going to local aquarium.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support after having a recent Brain injury..
