Position: Residential Support Worker / RSW

TeacherActive is working with a children’s residential provider in Swansea to recruit a Residential Support Worker / RSW. This therapeutic facility accommodates 4 children and young people aged 11–18 with diagnoses including EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties), SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health), or complex trauma needs.

The provider emphasizes a child-focused approach, fostering safety, security, consistency, and respecting children’s wishes.

Requirements:

• Experience with therapeutic models such as P.A.C.E
• Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification or willingness to achieve it
• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma
• Flexibility with shifts
