Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Bilberry Lodge in Lancashire. You will help residents with rehabilitation, personal care and daily living tasks in a small, supportive home environment.

Your role includes building trusting relationships, facilitating rehabilitation programmes, communicating clearly to residents and staff, and recording activity accurately. DBS is required, and a commitment to person-centred care is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working within the care sector / mental health
• Enhanced DBS will be required
• Genuine interest in providing person-centred care
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way
• Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
• Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
• Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
• Communicate any issues to the clinical team
• Accurately report and/or record work activities
