Job summary

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is recruiting seven Senior Support Workers for daytime and waking night shifts at a 13-bed Residential Care Home. The role supports short-term rehabilitation and reablement, helping adults regain independence after hospital discharge or to prevent admission, in partnership with hospital and community teams.

The successful candidates will assist the Registered Manager and Senior staff to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, working across a 24/7

Qualifications

• Proven track record in delivering high quality regulated care.

Responsibilities

• Support the CQC Registered Manager and Assistant Managers in ensuring safety and quality of the service.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the care and support team.
• Collaborate with council and health partners to meet regulated care standards and deliver patient-focused care.
