We have an opportunity for passionate and caring people to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in our Supported Living service in Abergavenny.We are currently recruiting for a 22 hour maternity position for 1 year.Due to the nature of the service, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts, as part of a rolling rota with every other weekend off.Typical day shifts run between 7:00am and 10:30pm. Sleep-in shifts are in addition to your contracted hours and usually follow this pattern:• Shift Example 1: 08:00am start → sleep-in → finish at 08:00am the next day• Shift Example 2: 15:00pm start → sleep-in → finish at 15:00pm the next dayWhile not all shifts will be 24 hours, you must be available and willing to work this pattern as needed.If you would like the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people please read on…..

This service is the home of 2 males with learning disabilities. You will be working with these incredible individuals to support them with maintaining their day-to-day independence, enhancing their various skills, supporting with daily activities as well as providing emotional support.
